As part of M&M Group’s commitment to promote technological research, M&M Group has donated material to the Manufacturing Processes Engineering Area of the University of Seville (US). This area is included within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing and belongs to the research group TEP111: Mechanical Engineering of the US.

The material will be used in the various academic, teaching and research tasks carried out by the group, reinforcing the excellent ties between the M&M Group and the University of Seville. Specifically, several aluminum alloys commonly used in the aeronautical industry have been delivered, as well as reagents for the correct execution of heat treatments on these alloys.

The material was handed over by Diego Gómez (left), head of the Metal Forming Technologies Research Area at M&M Group, to Carpóforo Vallellano (right), Professor at the University of Seville and director of the Manufacturing Processes Area.

This action is in addition to the delivery of material, a few days ago, to the research group TEP-027, Engineering and Technology of Materials and Manufacturing (INTEMAFA) of the University of Cadiz
