Andalucía TRADE closed the seventh edition of ‘Aerospace and Defense Meetings ADM 2024‘ with a meeting between Andalusian companies from the aeronautical sector with interest in the Indian market and Shri Dinesh K Patnaik, Ambassador of India in Spain. In this context, Andalucía TRADE has announced a mission with companies from the Andalusian aeronautical sector to India from June 24 to 28 in which M&M – Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos will participate.
This meeting showed, on the one hand, the common interest of the Andalusian institutions, companies and the Andalusian cluster to open market in India and, on the other hand, the interest of the Indian Government to establish connections with a cluster such as the Andalusian, aerospace reference in Spain, and the one that attracts the interest of the world industry.
Thus, Andalucía TRADE is organizing a trade mission to India, a market with a very high potential and strategic for the diversification of Andalusian companies from the usual large manufacturers, Airbus and other European and American ones.
India -fifth world economy- has a large strategic and priority domestic market for Andalusian companies, given its geographical location as a gateway to Asia, the strong economic development, with a forecast of 6.5% GDP growth in 2024 and a stable political environment and legal certainty for foreign investment.
In addition, India is developing a policy of openness to international trade, as shown by its treaties with countries such as Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Canada, and the ongoing negotiations for an agreement with the European Union.
