MyM – Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos will be one of the companies participating in the Aerospace and Defense Meetings-ADM Sevilla 2022, an event that has already reached 173 registered companies from 22 different countries when there are still two months left for its celebration, which will take place between 7 and 9 June in Fibes in 100% face-to-face format. We’ll be at G6 stand.
In this sense, the first registration data of the sixth edition of ADM Seville account up to 133 firms registered as exhibitors, of which 54 come from other countries, while 40 have registered with the profile of contractors, 25 of them also based in foreign markets, which reinforces the international character of the event.
ADM Seville is thus configured as the business event of reference for the aerospace and defense sector in Spain. Its objective is to increase the turnover of the Andalusian and Spanish aerospace cluster, establishing Andalusia as a key point in the global aerospace market and boosting international growth opportunities for the aerospace industry in Andalusia and Spain in general, in the civil, military and space branches.
ADM Seville is organized by the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, through Extenda-Andalusia Export and Foreign Investment, and by the company BCI Aerospace, a specialist in international meetings in the sector. It also has the support of the main manufacturers of the European, Spanish and Andalusian industry: Airbus, the largest European manufacturer in the sector, as the main partner of the event; Aciturri and Alestis, as platinum sponsors; Aernnova and Sofitec, as gold sponsors; and Grupo Sevilla Control, Aerotecnic and UMI Aero Group, as silver sponsors.
ADM Seville also counts on the collaboration, as institutional supports, of the rest of the Spanish industry agents, through Tedae (Spanish Association of Technological, Defense, Aeronautical and Space Companies), and the Andalusian one, with Andalucía Aerospace (Andalusian aerospace cluster). Also supporting the event are the IDEA Agency, of the Ministry of Economic Transformation, Industry, Knowledge and Universities, with whom Extenda shares a stand, through the common project ‘Invest in Andalusia’; Aerópolis, Aerospace Park of Andalusia; the Technological Park TecnoBahía de Cádiz; CATEC-Advanced Center for Aerospace Technologies; and Invest in Spain (ICEX), of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
The CEO of Extenda, Arturo Bernal, celebrated the “important figures of participation that ADM Seville brings together when there are still two months to go.” “The fact that two out of three contractors are from other countries shows that we are talking about an appointment that 10 years after starting is clearly consolidated in the international calendar of business events in the aerospace sector, something of enormous value for the Andalusian cluster, which plays host to the global industry, which can see first hand their technological developments, innovations and capabilities to participate in some of the most important projects in global aviation, such as the A400M, the C295 or the 320 Airbus, the largest European manufacturer.”
22 countries represented to date
Of the exhibiting companies, 54 are from abroad, with an outstanding presence of firms based in France (15), Italy (9), United Kingdom (7), Austria (6) and Germany (4), as well as other companies from Canada (3), United States (2), Morocco (2), India (1), Japan (1), Holland (1), El Salvador (1), Tunisia (1) and Turkey (1). The remaining 79 firms are from national clusters and companies such as MyM Group, mostly from Andalusia and Madrid.
On the other hand, 40 contracting companies (OEMs) have registered for the event to date, of which 25 are international and 15 are national. The international OEMs are based in France, Italy, Canada, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Turkey, the United States, Israel, Pakistan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Uruguay. As with the exhibiting companies, the other 15 contractors are from Andalusia and Madrid.
A broad representation of the global aerospace supply chain that justifies that in this new edition ADM Seville has been classified as a “Fully International Fair” by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
