Being registered and listed by Defense also opens up opportunities as a potential recipient of industrial cooperation ("offset") packages in non-European weapons systems procurement programs.

We are proud to inform you that MyM, for another year, has obtained the certificate that accredits it as a company registered with the General Directorate of Armament and Materials (DGAM), which allows it to opt for opportunities emanating from the Ministry of Defense as a supplier -actual or potential- of, in this case, aeronautical equipment, materials and services necessary for the fulfillment of the missions assigned to the Armed Forces.

It should be recalled that the purpose of the Register of Companies of the General Directorate of Armament and Material is to make information available to the Ministry of Defense, which allows to know the industrial, technological and economic-financial capacity of the registered companies in order to facilitate the decision making in its strategic planning related to the national defense industry.

The existence of the Register of Companies makes it possible to have a Database, through which the capacities (industrial, technical, economic-financial, production, etc.) of the companies registered as suppliers are known.

In order to participate in each international installation or supply tender promoted by NATO through ICB (International Competitive Bidding), companies must be accredited and certified as eligible by the Ministry of Defense. Likewise, those companies wishing to establish, with a NATO Agency, a BOA (Basic Ordering Agreement) for the supply of COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) products must also be eligible. In both cases, such certification will be based on the data of the companies listed in the Register of Companies.

In this way, MyM can participate as a supplier or subcontractor in the major programs of Defense Industrial Cooperation in Europe, such as the Future Combat Air System FCAS program, as the Euromale or Eurodrone project, as well as to participate in the “Sirtap” project (manufacture of a UAV of more than 750 kg.), among others.
