The new Innovation and Technology Commission of the Cadiz Naval Maritime Cluster has been constituted

The Cadiz Naval Maritime Cluster has set up a new Innovation and Technology Commission, to which all its associated companies, including M&M Group, have been invited to participate, with the aim of promoting innovation as a source of competitiveness.

Navantia Training Centre (NTC) hosted last June 9th the first meeting of this commission, which was attended by about twenty companies and will be led by Navantia (Fran Abad) and the IDEA Agency (Rosa Mellado), together with the vice-president of the Cluster, Jesús Rodríguez, CEO of Surcontrol.

After presenting the objectives of the committee, focused on aligning interests to promote innovation in the companies of the sector, the companies present were encouraged to register to get involved in the activity to be developed by the committee and to contribute their ideas and experience.

On the part of the IDEA Agency, the INNPULSO Network was presented, with the testimony of the municipalities of San Fernando and Puerto Real, which belong to it.

Likewise, a detailed presentation was made on the endowment of the future Advanced Manufacturing Center (CFA), which will be launched in the coming months, in order to advance to the companies the project options to be developed and to offer the support of the commission to articulate this initiative.

After this presentation, the formal registration to the commission will be sent to the attending associated companies in the coming days along with a confidentiality agreement and the next meeting will be convened in which, among other issues, the innovation capacity of the cluster will be analyzed.
