In-Transit, an initiative that brings together European SMEs and researchers to learn about innovation in key sectors, has focused on Andalusia through CTA (Technological Corporation of Andalusia). Within the framework of this project, a Learning Expedition has been developed, which has visited, together with Marta Escanciano, head of the R&D area of M&M Group, and Daniel Herrera, from the Quality Department, the company’s facilities in the province of Cadiz.

In-Transit seeks to create a meeting place for companies and researchers from different countries to establish relationships and explore opportunities for collaboration on future projects, as well as to learn about the latest technologies and trends in the aerospace sector, as well as opportunities for collaboration with Andalusian companies. Through this Learning Expedition, robotics researchers from Croatia and Bosnia share their experiences and knowledge with their European counterparts, with a special focus on technology transfer and European project management.

The participants in this initiative have been managers/technical staff from SMEs in the aerospace, textile, advanced manufacturing and construction sectors; robotics researchers from Croatia and Bosnia and from the University of Seville.

“We would like to thank CTA for having thought of M&M Group to collaborate in this initiative of technological knowledge exchange at European level”, said Escanciano.
