On November 9, representatives of the Technology and R&D area of M&M Group visited the facilities in San Sebastian of CIDETEC, an applied research organization that integrates three technology centers of international reference in Energy Storage, Surface Engineering and Nanomedicine, and with which M&M Group collaborates in various innovation projects.

In this way, Marta Escanciano and Guzmán Domínguez, researchers from the Surface Engineering area of the Cadiz company, met with the CIDETEC team to address both the kick off meeting of the AUTOTREAT project (“New autonomous power supply based on real-time electrochemical measurement for anodising treatments”), which has just started, as well as the progress of work package 2 of the ACTIVAL project (“Towards a more sustainable and competitive aviation through the implementation of active protection technologies and ultrasound-based sensors in aluminum aerostructures”).

AUTOTREAT has received funding from the Eurostars-3 joint program with co-funding from CDTI and the European Union’s Horizon Europe Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, and its execution period began in October 2022 and will end in January 2025.* This information reflects the views only of M&M Group; neither CDTI nor the European Commission is responsible for any use that may be made of the information contained therein.
