Last September 24 took place at the facilities of M&M – Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos the justification meeting of the activities carried out during the 2023 annuity of the R&D project AUTOTREAT led by the Cadiz company in a consortium formed by TALENTO (company dedicated to support others on their way to digital transformation), PLATING (German company manufacturer of power supplies for surface treatments) and HEREON (German institute with extensive experience in the development of models based on physics/data).

It should be recalled that AUTOTREAT’s overall objective is to develop an autonomous power supply capable of adjusting anodizing conditions in real time, based on the measurement of electrochemical parameters. This will facilitate the operation of the plant, avoiding the experimental adjustment (trial/error) of the anodizing conditions currently used.

Attending in person were Sonia Isabel Guerrero Enriquez (Project Control Division – CDTI Certification and Innovative Public Procurement Directorate); Tomás Reinares Álvarez (Talento Product and R&D&I); Carlos Redondo Santos (Talento Product and R&D&I) and Marta Escanciano, head of the Innovation area of M&M Group. Pablo Santamaría (researcher at the Coatings and Surface Treatments Unit of CIDETEC) also participated in the meeting.

The meeting took place at the facilities of M&M – Sede Las Salinas in El Puerto de Santa María. Afterwards, a visit was made to the plant where it was possible to observe in situ how the tests are being carried out for the project, which is being developed according to its schedule.
