MyM – Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos and the University of Seville have signed a scientific and industrial collaboration agreement for the co-supervision of the PhD program in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Organization entitled “Prediction of geometric distortions in plastically formed aluminum alloy parts in unstable maturation states”.

This thesis, which is part of the roadmap that MyM has defined from its Metal Forming area within the RD line, will be developed over the next three years by the engineer Fernando Pascual Goce (in the picture, during an informative talk about MyM’s ITP program), who has expressed his “gratitude to the US and MyM for allowing me to do this industrial thesis, as it is a great opportunity to develop my career both professionally, in a leading company in the industrial sector, and scientifically, in an important research group”.

On behalf of the University of Seville, Carpóforo Vallellano Martín, Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing of the ETSI, area of Manufacturing Processes Engineering, will participate in the direction and supervision, while on behalf of MyM, Dr. Fernando Mas, head of the RD Department, will supervise the thesis.
