Intec-Air, a subsidiary of Aernnova, and MyM Group have signed a strategic agreement to enhance the aeronautical activity in the Bay of Cadiz and the province and improve the positioning to access opportunities in both national and international markets.
Intec-Air, with more than 250 employees, is a company specialized in the manufacture of metal components with technologies in aluminum and titanium forming, chemical milling and integral assembly management. Its activity began in 1993 with the manufacture of components for the Super Puma helicopter, being acquired in 2006 by the Aernnova group, which employs 400 professionals in Andalusia, distributed between its facilities in Aerópolis (Seville) and Zona Franca de Cádiz.
The Andalusian company Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos S.A., with work centers in Las Salinas and Tecnobahía, in El Puerto de Santa María, and Carissa Aurelia, also in the Cadiz town of Espera, employs more than 150 people. It was founded in 2004 as an auxiliary company manufacturing metal components for structures, managing the needs of customers by integrating metal transformation processes and delivering products for direct use in aircraft. It also promotes the development and research of processes through specific projects.
The agreement reached between Intecair-Aernnova and MyM will allow both companies to jointly participate with a wide range of industrial capabilities in the aeronautical sector’s work package award processes.
Both companies have the latest technologies for the manufacture of metallic elements, as well as for the application of surface and heat treatments. The experience of their teams will allow them to offer a high degree of specialization in the industrial processes of reference in the sector.
