On April 9, M&M – Mecanizados y Montajes Aeronáuticos attended, represented by its CEO and general manager, Domingo Ureña (first on the left in the picture), the general assembly of the Space-Aero España association, to which the Cadiz company belongs, held at the new space facilities of Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe.
The day was marked by several important developments. Firstly, Guillermo Sagrario Rueda, Head of Supply Management at AIRBUS DEFENCE & SPACE, was appointed as the new president of the association. Sergio Camps López, Supply Chain Director at ACITURRI, was appointed as the new secretary. The board also welcomed two new members: SATLANTIS, a space technology company that provides very high resolution satellite solutions for the observation of the Earth and the Universe, and FAYMASA, a precision engineering and machining company that offers optimal integrated solutions to any industrialization project.
During the general assembly, a balance of the good training results of the Space Aero España association was also made. In this sense, the importance of training to improve the competitiveness of the Spanish aerospace sector was highlighted. In addition, the incorporation of mutualized projects to the activity of SPACE-Aero España was announced, with which the aim is to improve the industrial maturity of the Spanish supply chain in a more efficient and measurable way.
