On October 13, the Technology and R&D department of M&M Group held at the facilities of the Real Club Nautico de Cadiz, a Team Booster day with the participation of representatives of Airbus, University of Seville and AOM Communication and Marketing, who shared interesting keys from their experience in different professional branches related to the industry.

In this way, and after the presentation of all the members of the company’s R&D team, Adrián García, Project Director of AOM, spoke about “Communicating (with) the company“, where he explained how is the context, operation and reality of current corporate communication, especially in digital environments, highlighting the importance of having a defined strategy based on the objectives set by each company and explaining it with real cases, which included reputation crises.
Subsequently, Gabriel Méndez, Digitalization and Innovation Manager at Airbus Defence and Space, gave a presentation on “Project management in VUCA environments (Volatile, Uncertainty, Complexity, Ambiguity)“, in which he shared some of the keys in the process of project development in industrial environments, especially from the level of responsibility and decision making of, at a first level, the professional as an individual entity, of the work teams at an intermediate level, and of the company itself at the third and last level.
Lastly, María José Escalona, professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Seville (in the cover photo) spoke on “The power of metamodels for solving industrial problems“, a presentation which, through current practical examples from industry, explored the importance of developing metamodels in production processes as an initial basis and insisted, in particular, on the enhancement of the capacity for abstraction as a basis for being able to define these processes more effectively.

“This Team Booster day has allowed us, on the one hand, to get to know a little better all the components of the R&D area of M&M Group, a young but very talented group working on numerous projects, and, on the other hand, to know the impression and experience of specialists in different subjects related to the industry such as metamodeling, project management or corporate communication that will undoubtedly help our team to expand other knowledge and essential skills today,” said Dr. Fernando Mas, CTO of the company.
From M&M Group we would like to thank the selfless collaboration of these outstanding professionals.
