On October 6, the University of Cadiz hosted the solemn opening session of the Academic Year 2022-2023, held in the aula magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Campus of Cadiz, where the Extraordinary Awards for the end of Degrees and Masters related to the academic year 2020-21 were also presented.
Among the winners was Guzmán Domínguez (second from the right), head of the Surface Engineering area of M&M Group, who received the Extraordinary Prize for the end of the Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering for his work “Influencia del texturizado láser en el comportamiento tribológico del acero AISI 630” (Influence of laser texturing on the tribological behavior of AISI 630 steel).
This is not the first recognition that Domínguez has received, as he also received the 2019/2020 Extraordinary End of Degree Award in the Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Cádiz and, more recently, the AFM Mention to the SIF 2021 Best End of Studies Paper Award.
