The University of Cadiz and Andalucía Aerospace have recently signed an agreement of adhesion of the UCA to this business cluster, of which M&M Group is part, in order to facilitate the development of joint projects and activities in the area of scientific research, innovation, and knowledge transfer, as well as in the training of research and technical personnel in the aerospace sector.

The agreement was signed by the vice-rector of Science and Technology Policy of the University of Cadiz, María Jesús Mosquera Díaz, and the general director of Andalucía Aerospace, Juan Román Gallego, in a ceremony attended by Luis Pizarro, vice-president of the cluster and general director of M&M Group, together with the director of the School of Engineering of the UCA, Luis Lafuente, and the member of Andalucía Aerospace Fernando Serrano.
It should also be recalled that M&M Group collaborates regularly with the University of Cadiz through the ITP program (Internship Talent Program) as well as in the transfer of industrial materials for academic purposes, among other aspects. The UCA joins another Andalusian university, the University of Seville, as an academic partner.
The adhesion agreement establishes the commitment of both institutions to collaborate in activities of experimentation, dissemination, training or demonstration of research results in the aerospace sector. Both entities have shown their interest in developing joint research, innovation and dissemination projects in the aerospace sector, as well as promoting the transfer of knowledge and scientific results from the University of Cadiz to the productive sector.
